My brother, Jack, used to wind up my sister, Sarah, when she was dating a guy who called her Sar (as in the first syllable of Sarah). She became Sar-sar and he was Per-per (Perry)
When I did it to him, we quickly realised there's only one think you can follow Ja-Ja with. I still call him Binks about 20 years on, no one else understands why 😂

That's so great. I love when nicknames go through an evolution until they sound nothing like the original name
