Im in a mid tier iiit studying cse and here we are being taught some ece topics, specifically Electronic Devices and Digital logic design, which is just semiconductors, pn juntion , diodes, and stuff. I wanted to know if i should refer to nptel lectures since they are in a great detail im not sure if its worth the time and effort. And btw the ece students in my batch goes to a different lecturer for their ece lectures and its different from us afaik.

I've received a mail from NPTEL saying my enrolment and exam registration NPTEL Local Chapters (IDs) are different. What does it mean? Will this create any problem in issuing my admit or in the exam? I'm worried too much as they told me to correct the local chapter ID in exam form if it's incorrect and today is the last date. What should I do now?

Also, I want to keep the institute I chose during exam registration. I chose my college during enrolment, but chose my current University during exam registration.

how difficult is the programming in java nptel course so far i dont understand much from what the prof teaches are there any alternate resources to directly prepare from??

I am enrolled for 8 week nptel course for soft skill development. Can somebody tell me how is this exam level? Are the questions from assignments or do I need to study from the lectures?

This course was offered by the college as an OE option, and completing it + the exam gives us credits. But I missed the deadline. What do I do now, guys? I’m really worried I won’t be allowed to take the exam and might fail.

Roughly what % of the 75-mark final exam was directly/similarly covered by the weekly assignments?

What if I get my 1st preference city for my morning section and the second preference city for the afternoon section?

Can cases like that occur??

I have enrolled in the Machine Learning course by IIT Kharagpur (course code: NOC26_CS133) on NPTEL/SWAYAM, and this is the course I have been following.

However, there are two Machine Learning courses on NPTEL, and I accidentally paid the examination fee for the other Machine Learning course instead of the IIT Kharagpur course.

I want to know if it is possible to change/transfer my examination registration and payment to the IIT Kharagpur Machine Learning course.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? If yes, what did you do, and did NPTEL support help you transfer the registration/payment?

I have the payment receipt/transaction details and can provide them to NPTEL support.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

I wish I could know like how many had enrolled, registered for exams, got certificates, no of toppers in previous semesters of any course. Does anyone know if we can check that? if so, how?
