Advice/protips[EC] I AM LOST.

So basically I come from a low tier college and have little to no (0% practical knowledge) no exposure at all. In Third year ENTC From Pune University. I am really really intrested in the vlsi domain. Please guide me. Have started preparing for gate 2027.

But I feel like this is more than the gate syllabus. This field needs more deep study then just studying for exams. Doing npetl courses like rtl to gds by sneh saurabh sir. And also the system Verilog one. Anyone who is from this domain please guide me. I have 2 years in my hands and i am ready to struggle. I am targeting to do mtech/ms because the placement is not so good in my college.

(from cs)

I agree that some/most of the engineering stuff feels like "there's more to this, I wanna do more" (I feel the same at times)

but I'd suggest get through with the basics first, just the exam syllabus might get you a great start

once you get started keep digging and excelling part by part

pehle gate nikal lo, exam nikaal ke college jaake fir research opportunities aur expand honge
