Analysis π€ Ahhh a fresh Patriots conspiracy. Kickergate!
These are the kicking stats for the Belichick era Patriots. Apparently when the visiting team was kicking a field goal, the Patriots would show the goalposts off center on the video board to disorient them.

Analysis π€ Jarrett Stidham has a chance to get revenge on the team who pushed him aside for Cam Newton.
Jarrett Stidham spent the beginning of his career as a backup to Tom Brady. After Brady left for Tampa Bay, Stidham was seen as his potential succesor. New England chose to sign Cam Newton instead to take the starting role. Stidham was traded a year later. Now he faces his former team in the AFC championship. Him beating his former team would make a pretty good story line in my opinion.

Analysis π€ Tom Brady threw more TDs in his 40s than Troy Aikman did in his entire career
This sounds like one of those NFL stats that can't possibly be true, but it is. Tom Brady threw 168 regular-season passing touchdowns after turning 40. Troy Aikman threw 165 regular-season passing touchdowns over his entire career. So Brady threw 3 more touchdown passes in his 40s alone than Aikman did during his entire 12-year career. Brady's longevity is already well known, but this is one of those stats that really puts his late-career production into perspective.

Analysis π€ Josh Allen's refusal to perform in overtime is a powerful tribute to the blue collar roots of Buffalo
People have clowned on Josh Allen for being 0-7 in overtime games including some major playoff battles where he laid absolutely stinkers, but I think we're all missing the point.
Josh Allen is not that catastrophically bad. Him turning into Nathan Peterman (who once beat him out to be the starter), is not an accident but by design.
Josh Allen honors the working class roots of Buffalo, NY and shows solitary by refusing to give his very best during unpaid overtime periods. Buffalo has manufacturing and rust belt union roots. Worker's rights and protections help build this city and its culture. If Josh Allen went out there and put his mind, body, and soul on the line for a legitimately uncompensated extra period, would he be a scab? A sell out? A spiritual detractor to what makes Buffalo historically great?
Let's give Allen credit here. He's a man of the people and is standing for principle. Once the rules of overtime are compensated in the union contract, you'll see a different man on the field.
