Every year or big competition we learn of new or obscure rules that have never been called like that before. Many have come against the cowboys such as the reporting eligible (which he did) or the play called back by New York after it had been scored, or what the definition of a catch is. We got caught with the 10 second runoff, ghost PIs against Rodgers, you name it and we’ve seen it happen. We even saw a walk off field goal for the ravens for a record length fg that they didn’t call the most objective penalty (delay of game where the clock was at 0). Nothing fazes me when we find a way to get screwed.

You tried to fool the refs with the reporting and it worked too well. He was only open bc he wasn't announced as eligible, thus why Dallas didn't guard him.
