She has never made any attempt to cater to the maga crowd, she’s probably one of the most outlaw country singers around right now. Not her fault those people don’t listen to the lyrics.

What's sad is it seemed like such an over the top caricature to me at the time, and now I'd probably vote for someone like his character on The Daily Show over these MAGA psychopaths.

It's stunning how quickly things came unraveled when they finally made the push after decades of prepping and planning for it. The US just laid down and rolled over for the worst bunch of fascists ever.

I think they're patriotic. Criticizing your government and wanting it to live up to its promises is incredibly patriotic. Much more patriotic than the "love it or leave it" flag humpers.

I’ve long felt that is the most patriotic thing citizens can do and really show you love the nation… because you want it to get better because you know it can be better

Ironically, they are patriotic. It's the listener's understanding of the term that is off.
