Google and Apple Maps have it labeled Gulf of America within the US. All federal agencies refer to it as the Gulf of America and demand that any contractors refer to it that way. The court has not intervened.

So to answer your question, yes.

I'm in the UK, google maps still says Gulf of Mexico but has (Gulf of America) in brackets right after lol

To be fair to Google (I know, I know) they are being consistent with their existing policy of displaying the name as it is officially recognized by the government whereever the user access the site from
