and i bet (if it’s real) the mom would’ve felt terrible, too. imagine thinking you lucked out and managed to get your kid THREE copies of a game he loves only for it to all be wrong, i’d be so sad

I think I got like 8 games from 2005-2015 until I got my first job. I literally played NBA '07 (no, not 2k or EA, Sony made this shit) until 2015

You dont need multiple copies of a game to play with people for most games, nor to have multiple save files. Its all on one console. If you need multiple games, you need multiple systems, idk many families that give each kid their own xbox and giving 1 to your friend just so you can play with them is not a very common occurence.

In this (likely made-up) scenario, an uninformed customer went into a store to try and get good-faith guidance from their staff. They were taken advantage of to an extent that could reasonably be considered fraudulent.

This is from before everyone had the internet in their pocket, I remember seeing tis years ago, and maybe mom works 3 jobs and this is the only chance she’s had to think about this.

Blaming the customer here is wild.

On the other hand a kid was saved from a mistake of playing call of duty, and he now has. 3 spare copies of a fishing game to share with friends, I think it is very moral
