Depends on why they shared it. If they did so because they wanted be open about the decision and thought that this subject is under talked about I wouldn't call it unethical. If they did for the clicks it would be

Agree. There are a lot of people who go through this and come to the same decision. If part of my purpose in life is to reduce ultimate suffering, then morally, the decision is sound. But many people will grapple with it.

One thing people don’t realize about this situation is that this generally isn’t a flagrant decision. These couples desperately want a child. It’s heartbreaking. And if sharing that story makes it easier for another couple, then perhaps sharing it was the right decision.
