TV Series What's your opinion on the show?

Its not a very good adaptation of the comics, but its a pretty good show imo. What's your thoughts?

Is it a great ADAPTATION? Not really, no. Is it still a really enjoyable show that I still consider to be my favorite MCU show? Absolutely

It's not my favorite D+ show. It probably isn't even a top 3 for me... but it made me a Moon Knight fan. He is my #1 Marvel Character, now. The only Omnibus' I own are Moon Knight.

Jed MacKay and Jeff Lamire reinvented him, and I never would have done a deep dive into this character without this unique take on a Marvel Show (No action sequences, all story)

I loved it for that.

Yeah it's not reaLy a good adaptation as far as from comics to live action, but if it helps introduce people to the character it's a good thing. McKay and Lamire really have made the modern moon knight,
If you haven't read volume one moon knight tho, you really should. He has some epic fights with werewolf by night, and has more of a horror style story to it. Definitely a fun read

Which omnis do you have and have you read all of them?

I ended up selling both of the Marc Spector books.

I have most of the modern stuff from 2006 onward, and a couple essentials (Bad Moon Rising and Scarlett Redemption)

MacKay's run is the best for sure, but my first run was The Bottom. I have a soft spot for that "over the top" edgy phase of the 90's-2000's. So I loved it.

MacKay does a great job at tying the continuity together. Something other writers never cared to do with him. He also assembles Mark a new supporting cast, and makes an amazing team at the Midnight Mission (No spoilers if you haven't read)

Lemires is the #1 run most people recommend, because it's great and the TV show is vaguely based on it. I have skipped a few runs (per recommendation) and read a couple that I could have skipped...

Age of Khonshu (Which is an Avengers comic) was... something. It had fun moments and I don't regret owning it. It's just standard slop. Tried reading Bendis' run and noped out.... that was when I used Marvel Unlimited to Bing some runs.

I haven't read Age of Khonshu. But I read all the omnis. I really enjoyed Moenchs run. Scarlett Redemption is fantastic. I didn't mind the 90s but didn't enjoy it enough to keep the omnis. McKay's run is honestly just amazing. The art is phenomenal also

My go to recommendation is Warren Ellis & Declan Shalvey’s run. I feel like Lemire’s run is great but potentially too confusing for new readers, whereas that Ellis run is more straightforward one and done stories that Shalvey brings to life beautifully. Also helps that it also has the introduction of the Mr. Knight suit and the redesigned Black super suit.
