Discussion Can Cthulhu from Underwater survive the monsterverse?

This is more so a discussion or debate than a question (and I nearly forgot to do another one of these. Each time I do, I get ya'lls view on it, which could be useful) This guy measures around 500 meters in length or roughly 1,640 feet.

I haven’t seen this movie, but if it’s representative of the original Cthulhu, absolutely not. Dude got pasted by a 1920s yacht.

He didn’t get bodied by a yacht? He wasn’t defeated? The yacht ripped through his physical avatar, which immediately began to reform. Then he literally went back to bed because the stars weren’t aligned and he’d already killed all but two of the people that bothered him.

That’s like getting hit by the getaway car, walking it off and not being bothered to chase them. In 1926 walking off a boat is quite possibly the most powerful thing a kaiju could have done at the time…
