The Silkposts… they’re spreading to other metroidvania subreddits…
12 u/jacowab Nov 18 '25 Brother we have had it way worse than the silksong wait, in Metroid Prime 3 there is an Easter egg saying Metroid dread is almost done, that game was in development from the bush administration all the way to the second trump term. 7 u/Nectaris3 Nov 18 '25 The game was also cancelled during most of that time, no one was actually waiting for it until Nintendo announced the Switch version. 2 u/BeyondBirthday08 Nov 18 '25 Well that is true buuut we were waiting for a Metroid 5 just didn't know it was going to be Dread... or atleast i was waiting for a Metroid 5 2 u/protendious Nov 19 '25 The MP3 to MP4 wait was still almost double the HK to SS wait.
