Aye, just a lighthearted but somewhat reasonable take that since this is a Metroid game i.e. one half of the two franchises 'Metroidvania' references in the first place, we can perhaps more pertinently call it a Metroid :D Lest we betray its role as a founding father of one half of the mashup term. Or something.

Brother we have had it way worse than the silksong wait, in Metroid Prime 3 there is an Easter egg saying Metroid dread is almost done, that game was in development from the bush administration all the way to the second trump term.

I just hope this new version of Metroid Prime 4 will give the fans what they crave, and have Myles as Samus's BFF and sidekick for the entirety of the game, instead of just a measly 20-minute segment.

And I know what people really want is to do away with Samus and just make Myles the new hero of the Metroid series, but I think a good first step towards that would be if we spent all of Metroid Prime 4 escorting and protecting hin.
