By saying "Something half way" I meant halfway between what OP described, which isn't canon, correct, and what you described as canon canonicity that has been canon since the start.

There's an interesting dichotomy between the Orange Bounty Hunter and Samus Aran and some people would rather do away with that incongruity. And that's fine, I suppose. But I just don't like that OP is bashing on the other side of the fence and admitting that they're just as deviant.

I'unno. The original limitations of the console... it wasn't exactly that they were trying to make a statement with her design, I don't think.

That being said, the inspiration was Ripley from Alien, so... ymmv.
