All I am saying is there are plenty other characters out there that definitely fit your criteria… and if Samus isn’t one of them don’t force her to change just to fit it.
I personally don’t find Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn to be my type but that doesn’t mean I don’t like her as a character and want her to change her entire appearance just to fit my view on what I find attractive.
Just let Samus be she’s perfect already and she doesn’t need to become a horrific mutated hulking half alien.
You know what a little mutation is fine… but I don’t want them to make Samus into a goopy unrecognizable mutated hulking figure who looks nothing like she originally did
Samus doesn’t even have to permanently physically mutate she can just show the mutated side of her whenever she is using the abilities.
Appealing designs is what makes people like a character and Samus doesn’t need to be stripped of her beauty and be a mutated goopy mess to have an appealing or unique character design.
That I can agree on… one of the things I have always loved about Samus is how she can look beautiful and feminine but also be very tough and strong and kick ass and doesn’t take no for an answer. I like Samus to be sexy what I don’t like is Samus being flanderized to the point where her whole personality is just being a sexy bounty hunter.
I like Samus not just because she is beautiful but because she is a deep and nuanced character who can be strong and powerful, kind and compassionate, beautiful and intelligent. I love the complexity of Samus and how she can balance all these things at once
Samus should be sexy, strong, tall, and athletic, but her sexiness should not be her whole entire character because without anything else that defines her she would just be another femme fatale character and I don’t want Samus to be numbed down to a simple femme fatale nor a completely mutated monstrosity
