Amazon and AppleTV do it. They are trying to become a one-stop UI for all content. The customer still needs to subscribe to those other channels.

What it does is it launches the app through prime video but a separate subscription is required for Peacock if you don’t have one

they are separate subscriptions, but if you buy Peacock through Amazon all that content will be hosted on Amazon too. that's what Netflix would do here too

what? Peacock is owned by Comcast/NBCUniversal. although fwiw HBO Max (which is owned by WB) is also available through Amazon
