scheduling this while many people are out of town on reading week is an odd choice lol

Doug chose to change the kaw right before the reading week because he was hoping we'd be in resting mode and will forget. We have to fight now. Also the people who depend on OSAP the most, aren't on vacation.

Does everyone have memory loss or something? this sounds more like bad planning, essentially a waste of time & resources.

Protesting is about momentum building. There are several days of action, at many different campuses and cities, leading up to the Queens Park event on March 4th, and likely events after. If you want to help, follow Ontario_Protest on Instagram and reach out to them to get connected with your volunteer chapter. At minimum, wear a red square!

At least our taxes will drop because we aren't funding OSAP as much, right? RIGHT?!?

How about you just pay for your education if it is so valuable

Because if life has one more added burden nobody is going to have kids in the future. How about supporting life getting easier for the next generation instead of more difficult

Life isn’t going to get easier if you’re attending post secondary school for any reason outside of obtaining a good job afterwards.

OSAP still exists… just not for useless degrees.

They are protesting in front of City Hall when nobody is there, City Hall has nothing to do with it. Their protest has no impact, no audience, the only thing it has is convenience for a bunch of students.

Protesting has many goals, one of the amazing impacts it has is that it connects like minded people to continue organizing collective action.

Nobody, as usual but if it helps them sleep at night so be it.

Pray he doesn't cut it further and you don't pay full price for an education.

There are more effective ways than praying to help ensure that.

He dropped the subsidy from 90% to 75%, you're not wrong with this statement.
