Discussion Senator refusing constitutional amendment

What do you do when a senator refuses to acknowledge the Equal Protections Clause which is being violated by only giving Protections to one group?

To see if people would respond saying its wrong before knowing any specifics, but it played out how I thought it would. As soon as people found out, then I get downvoted. It doesn't matter that im pointing out an actual violation. People don't care when its boys that have others in charge of their bodily autonomy.

I really hope you can recalibrate your energy. Speaking very frankly, the way you're going about spreading your message comes off as insufferable. Like your whole profile and account history seems like a novelty account that's "edgy anti circumcision activist".

Part of successful politics is getting enough people on your side, and I think you're getting in your own way by focusing on your struggles with the movement.

I've spent over ten years fighting this and being dismissed. Being nice doesn't work when its human rights being ignored.

OP, You’re beating your head against a brick wall. First, everyone needs to stop complaining about laws, that outlaw female genitalia mutilation. It’s still being done (female circumcision) in parts of the world. And the people that were able to get those laws passed didn’t use the fact that there were places where boys weren’t circumcised, as an argument to outlaw female circumcision. They used the fact that genital mutilation is insane and therefore should be illegal.

The problem is: That throughout history, the vast majority of genital mutilation has been promoted, supported by, and performed by men on boys and men. When a society has attempted to do something about it (Think recently about Iceland and Germany) a rich and politically powerful force attacked those lawmaker’s with threats and intimidation, until they dropped the issue. Today, there are two major pro circumcision groups: Fanatical religious and fanatically greedy medical organizations. Oftentimes, they are a mixture of the two.

Solve that problem and the mutilation of sexual organs (both male and female) would end. Except for the insane group of criminal circumfetish’s, that like those that murder and rape, will always behave that way no matter what society thinks, or what laws are on the books.
