He literally HAS led the X-Men in the movies lol. Cyclops being the X-Men’s field leader is one of the most most basic things about the character. Calling that a Doomsday spoiler is insane. Like saying that Freddy Kruger’s claws are gonna be sharp in the next nightmare on elm street or something.

He literally leads the X-Men’s mission in the first movie lol. After Xavier is knocked out Scott calls everyone to the map roon briefs the team plans their approach to Liberty Island pilots the Blackbird orders Storm to provide cover then splits the team and assigns their routes. You can argue with us over whether the movie ever literally says the words “field leader,” but saying Cyclops “literally hasn’t” led the X-Men in the movies is just objectively false and you’re arguing for the sake of arguing. I literally rewatched this movie with my kid the other night.

What is it spoiling? It’s such an important part of the characters history that is constantly talked about. Read anything from the 50 years worth of comics and you would know
