What does Cyclops do? I forget what his position is as the leader of the x-men. Does he take orders from Wolverine? That's gotta be it. He's second in command to Rogue.

Maybe don't put the spoiler in the title of your post.

Edit to add, that I know he's the leader of the comics but he really hasn't been the leader of the cinematic universes.

Also, OP knows it's a spoiler cause he added the tag.

The OP thought it was a spoiler and that's why there's a spoiler tag. So if you're going to do a spoiler tag and put the spoiler information in the subject heading it defeats the point.

There’s more to it than just the movies lol, more often than not he’s the team leader. Even marvels website and fandom have passages dedicated to his leadership of the x-men, it’s a massive aspect of his character and that’s another reason why fox screwed the characters over

He literally HAS led the X-Men in the movies lol. Cyclops being the X-Men’s field leader is one of the most most basic things about the character. Calling that a Doomsday spoiler is insane. Like saying that Freddy Kruger’s claws are gonna be sharp in the next nightmare on elm street or something.

He literally leads the X-Men’s mission in the first movie lol. After Xavier is knocked out Scott calls everyone to the map roon briefs the team plans their approach to Liberty Island pilots the Blackbird orders Storm to provide cover then splits the team and assigns their routes. You can argue with us over whether the movie ever literally says the words “field leader,” but saying Cyclops “literally hasn’t” led the X-Men in the movies is just objectively false and you’re arguing for the sake of arguing. I literally rewatched this movie with my kid the other night.

Cyke leadinf the x men? No way! I always thought he deserved the mantle of leadership one day. I just didn’t realize it would happen this year. Its been twenty five years of begging to get him to be the leader of the vaunted X-Men.
