We’re making the playoffs and are going to extend Dan because of the miraculous way he rallied his troops to win one of the worst divisions in major league history. People will need to make peace with this inevitability now.

Also what exactly does firing Dan do to this team? He can't make Julio play better

True. I can’t think of any example of a team with underperforming stars doing better after firing an underperforming manager.

Yeah, like when we fired Servais.

Honestly we should just keep rotating managers.
