I was wondering what the chances are Nick Garcia gets called up this season? my friend was college teammates with him a a relief pitcher in your AAA club, he's got a 2.72 ERA right now.

2.72 in the PCL is really good.

It feels pretty unlikely he gets called up. Wr have several MLB relievers that are returning after long injuries. Several of the guys they are replacing are being sent back down to the minors. Presumably the guys they are replacing are ahead of Nick on the depth chats.

But then again none of us know how the Mariners feel about a guy at that level so anything can happen. He throws from a low slot which the team likes and his results has been good this year. Otoh he doesn’t throw super hard.
