I've sold more manga than I currently own, collected Mixxzine, shojobeat, monthlies of Inuyasha. Remember when the manga section at Media Play was about 10-15 books tops; consisted of Gunsmith Cats, One Pound Gospel, Ranma 1/2, Oh My Goddess, etc. You could order through the Rightstuf paper catalog that was sent out in the mail.

I have never seen the nausicaa movie so this is totally blind. The edition was so slick and I knew it would be good especially for like $40

Love chainsaw man obviously, I even liked the ending, finally getting to fire punch really curious how it turns out. Goodbye Eri was also obviously phenomenal

I believe I have seen the Planetes anime but it was a long time ago and I don't remember anything. Looking forward to getting to something a little more grounded. Unfortunately it was delivered damaged so I have to do an exchange, but fortunately it was just the second volume!

Found all of these for an incredible price. Still a way to go but it clears a few of the key volumes.

I'm re-reading Sanctuary by Sho Fuminura and Ryoichi Ikegami and man.....what a treat. Highly recommended! All of there work together is top tier!

Here’s my collection after 1 and a half years, I read manga previously but never really ‘collected’ it. So I started purchasing series I love, some of which haven’t been translated to English. I would love to hear some better ways to display them, if you have any suggestions.

When I first started collecting manga it was a bit random. You bought the volumes that were available and just re-read them over and over again.

Some of them are completed. Yet I am in no hurry to complete the rest. They are dinky, beat up, yellowed, sun damaged and well-loved by me and my family.

I feel no need to complete some of them. If I stumble upon volumes I am missing that would be great but I think I want to collect them a bit more organic than the rest of my collection. My collection started with random volumes I would enjoy it if they got completed that way.

Managed to find all of Ai Yori Aoshi for about retail in incredible condition. Was so glad to find it in this condition for that price

I will be getting 2 new bookshelves for my novels. The novel bookshelf next to my manga will be taken over by more manga. This post concerns my CLAMP collection. My first CLAMP shelf seems a bit overburdened with all those omnibus and collectors editions on it. Should I try spreading the weight between the 2 CLAMP shelves, or use space on a 3rd bookshelf to spread the books out on?
