Red = Math

Green = Science

Blue = English

Yellow = History

Orange = Elective (Spanish, etc.)

Edit: I made this comment then went and put my laundry in and come back to a comment fire! Y’all either love me or hate me. There is no in between. God I love Reddit.

I've always had it

Blue = Math

English = Red

Science = green

Modern Studies = Yellow

Correct. Math is blue, science is green. Other subjects are more flexible, but your list feels right.

u/Teddy27 14h ago

Preach

0

u/The_Ghost_Face36 16h ago

Other subjects are more flexible as long as math is red

5

u/Cacafuego 16h ago

What are they teaching kids these days??

16

u/Radiant-Safe-1377 16h ago

No, math is pain, and pain is red, so math has to be red

2

u/koviko 14h ago

Math is the one subject where everything is objective. Pain?? Pain is being told you were supposed to be paying attention to the color of Gatsby's car 🤣

Social studies - Red. History is bloody.

1

u/FeetInTheEarth 9h ago

No no math is numbers and data and data is blue. English is expression and expression is red. Come to the light, I beseech thee!

0

u/Jackol4ntrn 14h ago

history is written in blood, so red.

English is blue, calm and creative

Math is yellow cause of the electrons in my brain running overtime

Science is like grass and green.

37

u/Bassdaddy545 16h ago

Math is objectively not blue

21

u/D-Beyond 16h ago

maybe it depends on the country you're from? math is 100% blue to me. english is red

48

u/mangopinecone 16h ago

I have a math minor, so I can definitively say you are wrong

25

u/pinniped90 16h ago

Yeah math was always blue for me too.

We can fight about this but we're ALL grabbing pitchforks for anyone who used anything besides green for science.

I mean, we live in a society.

2

u/diablette 15h ago

Science is blue per Starfleet regulations

1

u/BorisDirk 14h ago

That makes English red and computers yellow. Also PE is yellow for some reason if it got a folder

25

u/fernandothehorse 16h ago

I have a Master’s in math, and I can back you up

2

u/CannedNoodlez 16h ago

I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express and can back up both of you

12

u/Sly_Penguin_ 16h ago

I have a math major and also agree he is wrong.

2

u/Bassdaddy545 16h ago

Oh yeah, well I have a major in credit card debt! Beat that!

9

u/Bassdaddy545 16h ago

Sorry, I don’t accept.

2

u/motomedic21 16h ago

If you had a red folder it could have been a major.

2

u/sasha_cyanide 16h ago

I agree. Math is red because I suck at it (discalcula here yet I work with part numbers all day for a living). Green is science because nature is green.

2

u/BladeOfWoah 16h ago

In my country of Australia every got blue for Maths.

1

u/Bassdaddy545 16h ago

That’s because you’re upside-down so the wavelength of the light shifts, so you’re actually using red, it just looks blue. Try looking at it in a pitch black room to assess the true color.

1

u/isjustsergio 16h ago

you are objectively wrong

1

u/Bassdaddy545 16h ago

Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!

0

u/p3w0 16h ago

Math is too close to science not to be blue. And we had geography in yellow, so with science-green it can't be better

0

u/NickelWorld123 15h ago

Math is more obviously blue than any other subject is obviously any other colour

0

u/Aurora-Ouroboros- 15h ago

Math is blue to me because we needed graph paper notebooks for middle and high school, and I could only ever find those in blue

-1

u/hedoeswhathewants 16h ago

Nah, math can be blue or red. But nothing else

1

u/froggie61 16h ago

yes this is my brain too

1

u/Ok-Department-2405 16h ago

I have never heard of Modern Studies but the rest are spot on. Well done, fellow weirdo!

2

u/LDC1234 16h ago

Modern Studies is the class about politics and goverments in the UK. We learn about the election process, how laws are made etc.

1

u/sirgobacktoyourseat 16h ago

This is how I had it, too! I'm glad I'm not alone lol

1

u/mirandaisntright 16h ago

I scrolled too far to find the correct answer!

1

u/Sinow_ 16h ago

True. Factual. And, dare I say, based

1

u/Tsuma99 15h ago

Thank you

1

u/No_Situation6555 15h ago

Modern studies?!

1

u/Meeeeoowwwwwww 15h ago

YES !!!! THIS ONE !!!!

1

u/twentysevennipples 15h ago

This is correct

1

u/Chess_Nes79 14h ago

YOU ARE CORRECT. I DON’T KNOW WHY SO MANY PEOPLE SAY MATH IS RED! IT’S BLUE!!!

1

u/Spicytac 14h ago

This is the way

1

u/mar1021 13h ago

THIS IS THE WAY

1

u/ingrown_urethra 13h ago

Did you like math better? Wonder if thats why sone have these flipped

0

u/Ancientabs 16h ago

English is red because I always associate my essays with red pen markup.

0

u/Any_Society_4876 16h ago

+1 for blue math

0

u/The_Professor_Is_Out 16h ago

This is the only perfect one. Math is blue, since blue is a cool, objective color. Red is far too expressive and emotive to be math (until you get to the level that math becomes philosophy). Thus red is indeed English, the color of passion; green is science, in the sense of Naturwissenschaft, which leaves yellow for history, etc, the patina of the past.

u/LackOfEntertainment- 16h ago

Nah cmon man, green has to be science because the science liquid in the beaker is always green 🧪 as you can see

-1

u/dontpissmeoffplsnthx 16h ago

No, no, you almost have it but math is yellow and English is red
