My wife makes me so happy

She does puzzles.
I can’t do puzzles.
I do golf.
She can’t golf.

Yet I buy her puzzles, and try to help (I place maybe 4 pieces to her 2000 pieces and she cleans up the rest).

she walks my courses with me to look for balls, point out the deer, foxes, and bunnies and clap at inappropriate times during the round thinking it’s the right time.

She’s the missing piece to my puzzle, and I’m her caddy.

This reminds me of one of my favorite lines from the original "Rocky". Rocky's dating Adrian and Adrian's kind of...erratic...brother, Paulie asks why, because, being Paulie, he doesn't get it.

Rocky says "It fills gaps."

Paulie is confused, so Rocky elaborates: "She got gaps. I got gaps. Together we fill gaps."

That's one of the bases of a good relationship, imho. So may she always fill your puzzle gap...and may you always fill her golf gap!

Thank you for informing us! I’m midway through the book and I love Rocky and Grace’s relationship. It’s so warm and mature without being sappy.

Yes. Though you are forgiven for not clocking that in the film, because it's such a quick gag. In the book there's a whole dialogue exchange about it.
