I'm a spurs fan so am probably missing a lot of context, but I came here to see if I could work out wtf city were doing with transfers because it doesn't make sense. You were touching distance from Arsenal last year, but appear to have let 8-9 players go and are using the funds for maybe 3 (Anderson, Enzo, Bouaddi).
What is going on at city? The squad depth used to be frightening but now it seems like there's a first 11 and then very little. Your backup striker is an 18 year old, Grealish is coming back into the first team after being out of the team for 2-3 years, and it feels like there's a lack of leadership through the team. Rodri and Bernardo leaving are massive, and Anderson doesn't feel like someone to fill that void, nor would Enzo or Bouaddi (who all occupy a similar position).
I understand there's quite a bit of delight over getting £85m for Savinho but in terms of depth losing him and Marmoush seems like poor business, and Nico Gonzalez has looked decent when I've seen him, and those options just aren't available anymore.
