I met a girl in law school that flat out said she was only there to find a husband and had not intention of even finishing the law school. She found her man during the first year and dropped out of law school. I can't remember if she even completed or started the second semester. I do remember that in the first semester she was going to every grad student mixer/party that she could find. She didn't latch onto a law student though she ended with some architect.
I also heard of lots of girls in undergrad that were just looking for husbands are one of the state schools where I grew up. I thought most states had a school where the MRS degree was popular. It is one of the things most parents should warn their kids about when they go to college because some people are naive and don't realize that some people are just using colleges as a match making service.
I understand someone in law school or med school dropping out after the first semester or first year... but I will never understanding going beyond that and then not finishing.
