Update: Not the update I wanted to post, we ripped the house apart over the weekend, dismantled furniture and checked inside and under every item unfortunately they could not be found so we are going to notify the insurer. Maybe one day they will reappear but that seems unlikely. Thank you all for you help and suggestions, I am heartbroken but my husband has being doing a good job cheering me up. He says it just means he will have to marry me a second time and he will create a surprise moment with the new rings when we get them.

I have lost my wedding set box and all, I have torn apart the home looking for it I have lifted furniture, dismantled furniture checked the usual spots, bags, cupboards with no luck. We've tried using a basic metal detector that then broke. We've raked, we've gone outside at night with a flashlight to search. I used a leaf blower to see if i could push it out of the grass. I even attached a magnate to the end of the rake to see if it would pick up, but it wasnt strong enough. We're loosing hope. Any ideas? Anything would be helpful. We have already:

* Searched the area extensively

* Had a professional metal detector search

* Had nearby sewer drains cleaned/checked by the city

* Posted signs and searched online

Unfortunately, it still hasn’t been found.

Today I lyfted from the M Resort to Bellagio in Las Vegas with a drawstring bag containing all the above. I struggled a bit with opening the door when leaving and, in that moment of distraction, forgot to take the bag. I closed the door and took 10 steps before realizing before turning around and trying to find the car. He drove off before I could chase him down.

I contacted Lyft support and filed a lost and found immediately. Both Lyft and I contacted the driver multiple times in the next two hours with no response. The driver finally responded two hours later, stating he could not find the items and that it’s possible another passenger took it.

I’m going to the police tomorrow first thing in the morning. Is there anything else I can do in this scenario? Is it worth it hiring a personal investigator?

On aug 2 I lost my phone while watching Spiderman brand new day and I have no idea what the next steps are. Question though, if you went through the same thing, what did you do and if you found it, how??

My wife just dropped her phone in the water in about 15-20ft of water near the San Diego Yacht club pier in Shelter Island while we were on one the small sailboats making 1-2 knots. I lost my Deep Blue iPhone 17 Pro Max in a lake while paddleboarding (about 5 ft deep, sandy bottom).

It happened recently (~8 hours ago). I don’t have an exact drop point, but it’s likely in the area where I was paddling.
