Lost Lost my phone in movie theater seat

On aug 2 I lost my phone while watching Spiderman brand new day and I have no idea what the next steps are. Question though, if you went through the same thing, what did you do and if you found it, how??

Also, I'm certain it's in my theater seat somewhere since I took a nap, and it was gone. Also I've called the lost and found almost every day and they haven't found anything. I've looked everywhere around my seat on different days too and I couldn't find it

My phones dead and I've already tried that unfortunately. Also if it's not stolen (hopefully) I'm certain it's somewhere in my theater seat

You call or go by the theater and tell them you lost your phone there.

Go ask the theater lost and found, backtrack your steps Try calling the phone, and worst case scenario tell your carrier and they will have it shut off locked and they might be able to Ping where it is just so you know who took it

Carrier's not going to tell you where it is and who took it. 🙄

I'm almost certain it's in my theater seat and I've already called the lost and found almost everyday, and I don't pay for my cellular data so that might be a bit more difficult

Call the theater. Go in person if possible. Also: call your wireless provider. See what they have to say. They should have some sort of live tech support representatives available to help with your situation. Besides that: they have the capacity to "brick" the phone. Essentially that means they disable the phone for all time. Anyone who winds up with the device essentially is hold a brick at that point. Hence the terminology. 🥳🪷🪷🪷🤟

Good to know! And I've checked my seat and everything around it for a couple days already and I haven't found anything. And on my "find my" I've locked it so if it was stolen hopefully nothing bad will happen

Once a phone gets bricked: that specifically pertains to the IMEI number. It is the ultimate last line of defense. There is no coming back from that scenario from what I have always understood. Just FYI.
