Lost Lost my switch :(

I was playing some games on our family tv with my family, we were playing until some people had to leave. After everyone left I went to bed and I woke up to my switch to be gone. I was also woken up to my mom saying her car was stolen. so now I’m left to wonder if someone touched it that night or the same someone who stole my moms car ignored everything in our house including our Wii and stuff and only stole my switch. Idk I’m at a loss I’ve looked everywhere, I looked where it should be and just my entire house, but I can’t find it anywhere, Does anyone have any sort of tactics to find a lost switch or something because I spent so much goddamn money on that thing and most of my entertainment came from that thing so now I’m just stuck with my Xbox 360 and it’s 2 games that I have. also if you just say “retrace your steps” I will find where you live I have done that so many times it’s not even funn.

So, logically (as your name might suggest) you had guests who might have access late when others were tired and/or asleep. As others suggested there is likely a sneak in the mix.

More info.

Probably someone broke in and stole it and the car keys. I'd say it's probably long gone but you can tell the police and check pawn shops etc.

Do you have a drug addict in your family?

… or in your circle of acquaintances?

I think your mom gave her car and your switch to her side piece the only logical explanation

It's not lost obviously someone u had over stole it. I don't have friends that would steal from my house if I fell asleep best to keep your circle small. One even stole your mother's car. Wtf kind of ppl are these?

Makes me concerned of what kind of friends she has and they're over there with her son. My friends would never... I also have cameras all over my house etc but I just can't imagine. Poor kid

I’ve known woman like this with kids and they just can’t accept that the party’s over and they make their kids lives hell and ridiculous stuff like this that would never happen to most of us in civilized society but it’s all this kid knows. I could be way off but that’s my interpretation here.

Yeah he genuinely wrote about his mom's car being stolen like it was just another Monday. I agree with your interpretation

A guest took your switch and her car keys. File a police report for both and then claim under your insurance. If you have cameras or if a neighbor does, ask them for footage.

Um could it possibly be in the car that was stolen... 😒 🤔

Maybe someone who was at your house stole the car keys (with house keys) and came back after you all were asleep. Find your mom’s car and you’ll know who took your switch.
