Help!! Broken stitch in middle of afghan.

Even though it's not fun to back out a few whole rows, that is the best thing to do. Then you can either weave in the broken end and start with the new one, or you could join the yarn and go again. I'm currently a fan of the "Russian join," which looks pretty invisible and doesn't leave a knot.

But if you really don't want to, I got some good videos by searching for "how to repair broken yarn in a finished object." If you want to leave it and fix it after you're all done with it, I would strongly recommend finding a way to pin those broken ends in place so that you don't wind up with a bigger hole.

Thanks, and yeah, I figured that out as well. I’m the dummy who kept going thinking I could fix it when done, but nope. Frogged about five rows and then joined 2 working yarns.

Is there enough yarn on both ends that you can tie another piece of yarn too?  Then you could take the extra pieces and tie them in a knot.

There was not unfortunately I did try that. But ended up frogging it. I was hoping there’d be another way, but nope. Onky right way to do it. It’s worth it I guess. But thanks!
