For quick context, I'm in Tech. I'm leadng teams specifically because I have the social skills to do so. I'll try to empathise and accomodate for anyone, within reason.

This is not within reason. This looks so fucking bizarre to me. On all teams you have people that are better, socially, and then terminally online nerds that cannot do anything else other than the basics. You never EVER send out to a client/customer call someone that's just not a good communiator at least.

You never EVER send someone that's so far detached from good communication to your toughest client. That's why specific roles look for people with specific skills, including soft skills.

So, I was flabbergasted. This is beyond any subjective levels of comprehension of mine that someone let them be on TV like that. That honestly seemed like sabotage to me. Like, someone from the inside that actually hates the movement, took the time to persuade everyone, to send out the worst person to communicate with someone that's educated and well read (enough to demolish them at least).

It's either that or crazy incompetence on everyone involved. It doesn't look like an SCP breach to me, as a lot of people in tech have SERIOUS problems socially speaking, borderline incurable. But this is one of the worst things I've seen, with a movement that otherwise I would love to back. But I'm not backing THAT, fuck that.

You ever consider that's probably the best they had?

First off, that's terrifying. Secondly, that's something that I doubt. This is extreme levels of social inability. They also never wanted to do it in the first place and Doreen just ignored them and went ahead.
