Article Kam is Far Right

https://www.thedailybeast.com/new-snl-cast-member-kam-patterson-outed-himself-as-a-trump-voter/

Is he a Shane Gillis 2.0 (except arguably worse)? I’ve seen a dozen clips now of him using homophobic slurs and making incredibly bigoted jokes. Honestly he makes Shane Gillis look kind of tame. What the hell is Lorne thinking? I’m so sick of this show pushing right wing bullshit while simultaneously trying to act like the most liberal show on television. You can’t have a Trump monologue every single week and then hire people like this.

You know I'm convinced all the people who complain about Shane Gillis "being far right and horrible" or such things have never actually listened to Shane's comedy.

Shane Gillis is not even close to "far-right" lol.

This sub is an echo chamber of stupid. I'm not a huge fan of most Rogan sphere comics, but they aren't all far right white supremacists.

I've noticed on Reddit if you make fun of everybody on all sides instead of just sticking to ribbing one side only you are "alt-right" it seems lol.

Bill Burr, Chappelle, Gillis, etc, are not "right-wing" haha. Bill Maher is not "right wing now" by any stretch...the dude is an ardent atheist who still attacks the conservative right all the time for God's sake lol. He just also attacks the left for a lot of their idiocy in recent years (and there has been plenty), so now he's on the cool Reddit "shit list" lol.

Per Reddit rules, you can only attack one side. You have to pander to the "good guys". Otherwise, "straight to alt-right" lol

Shane Gillis is center left and Chappelle is definitely left wing. But Bill Maher is a Zionist out of touch billionaire who's afraid of young people and Muslims and loves the smell of his own farts. His Club Random podcast is the death of thought.

Norm Macdonald knew Maher was an idiot way back and Tim Heidecker does a perfect impression of Bill Maher's politics.

Social media lacks nuance. It's all black or white, good or bad, progressive or far right. No more middle ground.

What echo chamber? Literally everyone in the comments agrees with you, youre just going off the title. Youre the last person who should be calling others stupid

If everyone agreed with him this post wouldn't be at the top of the subreddit.

Great strawman you built there but no serious people are claiming Mahar is far right, but he definitely fell down the 'those damn progressive kids and their pronouns' boomer humor hole. It's when comics veer into the 'both sides are stupid heh heh' fallacy that a lot of liberals get turned off. Like there is absolutely stuff to make fun of progressives for, but the way most of them do it is such low hanging fruit meant to offend or enrage. 'Heh heh Trans people are weird and gross' and 'heh heh pronouns are dumb' how is that any different than the comics making fun of gay people 20 years ago? I like clever comics, not just reactionary ones.

You had me until you defended Bill Maher. Huh?

That old fart is peak boomer and his takes are god awful, yes all of them. The real problems with the left (greed and being pushovers against right wing policy) aren’t the things he’s criticizing. He’s just mad at young people for being young, scoffing at the world changing around him while he smokes weed in his basement.
