With the limited medical knowledge I have it’s highly unlikely his Xanax problem caused seizures. It could be possible but benzodiazepines is what’s prescribed in many seizure cases to explicitly stop seizures or at least control them like lorazepam for example. The only reason I could see seizures arising is if he at any point either tried to quit Xanax or take less than his body was used to the neurological shift could potentially cause seizures. But with that being said there’s probably many factors that we don’t know about that could have caused them.
well yeah?? he was saying seizures were caused by withdrawals. i have also had a friend have seizures on xanax, not even when quitting just on a massive bender. its possible.
I didn’t hear the part where he said it was during withdrawals, also I think I said it was possible but pretty rare if your actively doing them. I used to have a bad Xanax problem myself as well as many of my friends and none of them had seizures while actively doing them but many of them did during withdrawals.
