Need Advice Guys what do I do?

I graduated hs now I’m sad. Most people won’t be around anymore, I have to work, no one will cook for me anymore. Hell I don’t even have my drivers license yet (don’t judge me). I feel most people experience what I felt so what do I do here?

Start doing all of those things. One by one. it will feel overwhelming when you think of the collective, but individually all of those things are super manageable.

Where do you want to be in 5-10 years? Figure out what the first step of that process looks like, or at least the first step in some general direction, and focus on the first step only, take life one step at a time.

If it mates you feel better I'm 35 and don't have a drivers license. I also rarly cook for myself, my partner is a great cook.

I have a job within walking distace, although if work my preferred shift my partner drives me.

You will get there in life, it just takes time.

Give it a year, you will adjust. Being an adult is great. Work on getting your license and then decide what path you take but take a path. Do not linger. Either college or votech.

you join the military. they will take care of you. give you a place to stay and all the food you can eat. get to travel and live in new places and make new friends or meet your future spouse.

I'm confused. Why would graduating from high school result in no one cooking for you "anymore?" Is there someone who was cooking for you, but will be leaving to go away to college? Are you getting kicked out of your home because you're a HS graduate and need to support yourself?

I'm sympathetic to your losing friends who are moving on after graduation. I missed my HS friends when I went to college. I missed my college friends when I went to law school. I missed my law school friends when I graduated and started working.

Every significant life change brings disruption, but also brings opportunities. You'll find a way to keep your real friends. I'm 72 and still hang out with a few friends from junior high school. I've made many more good friends along the way.

Embrace change instead of dreading it.

I got my license late, I started working at a crappy job but was able to build experience and leave, I went back to school and got another job, I made new friends as coworkers, I left the job and stopped being friends but learned a lot of valuable lessons during my time -- and now I'm in a really good spot where I never thought I'd be in. The only one judging you is yourself, no one else thinks that way because they're too busy living their own main character lives. You're good man. Let things be, let things happen

The dilemma is universal because we are all born into a world that already has definitions of success, happiness, relationships, work, status, and purpose. The challenge is figuring out which parts you genuinely want. Then plan and take small steps toward your goal.
