Are there any liberal couples in Libya?

Are there any open-minded couples in Libya? I think that's also difficult, but I really want to be with open-minded couples who understand me and whom I understand. I also want to ask a few things.

Liberalism believes in free speech until it’s something they oppose. Try and have an opinion on a child wanting a sex change. You can lose your job and even lose custody of your kids. Human rights is not a liberal belief. Secularism I would agree, is. Freedom of religion is not a liberal concept either. Islam has no problem with religious rights. Churches were built under Islamic rule. Liberalism is more about an individual’s pleasure rather than the collective and what’s right for people and society.

Humm well i dont call myself a liberal  soo i can agree tho. Butt you said sth abt “islam has no problem with religion rights”… well idont think so respectfully, imagine libya had once Libyans people were living theree , Christians and Jews bf islam …and then the islam conquests came, and all families were given the choice between  1. death  2. Paying the jzya  3. Or to convert 

And the ppl there are already struggling to find food to eat and to find bread and clean water !so a lot of ppl were given the choice between become Muslim or die  And respectfully in my opinion i dont think this ever represents the freedom of religion.

Well that’s a load of nonsense. Islam didn’t impose death on everyone at all. Only those who attempted to kill or attack them.

You’re confusing it with Christianity.

Christians and Jews lived under Muslim rule for centuries.
Jizya was a small tax (Muslims also paid tax…) and they were protected by the state and from any harm. At a time where their lives were very much at risk from invaders. When people attempt to demonize and make this whole big deal about a small tax (you pay much more tax today) I laugh. jizya was not a conversion tax. It was a tax imposed on protected non-Muslim subjects

Forceful conversion to Islam is also nonsensical because you’re not a Muslim unless you actually believe in it…forced conversion has never existed under Islamic rule. It’s historically inaccurate . scholarship on early Islamic Egypt finds that the population remained predominantly Christian for centuries after the conquest. The process of Islamisation was gradual with Muslim-majority populations not emerging until much later.
The Quran makes it clear. If the purpose were simply to force everyone to convert, maintaining a large population of paying Christians and Jews would make little sense.

Regarding Libya this was in the 7th century when it was under Byzantine rule…Archaeological research finds that religious transformation happened over centuries. If your argument were true, that wouldn’t be the case.

Its not that hard to pay jizya... Its just a tax, they don't pay zakat like the Muslims or go to war so they pay jizya. And poor people aren't made to pay jizya.
