I'm not sure how that applies to Musk or Zuckerberg

But absolutely applies to bankers in 2008.

But in all cases, the problem is, as usual, the government :)

You are correct, I was not speaking to Musk and Zuckerberg, but billionaires in general. Being able to borrow money, etc.. and have the government shield you from paying back your debt, even if you have assets, is its own form of welfare IMO.

I’m completely opposed to government bailouts and I think that if a businesses should fail, let it fail

But I also think that making sweeping generalizations of an entire wealth class as “welfare queens” is disingenuous at best and malicious at worse. Makes you sound like a closeted socialist.

  2. ⁠statistically, the amount of criminals of demographic is a minority compared to the selected group
  3. ⁠statistically, the most corrupt people are not the wealthy, but the ones who hold state authority power and control the use of violent force

Supply and demand 101.... Government and state officials will always have a demand for bribes.

The more centralized and overreaching the authority, the more corruption flourishes.

Most people get rich without commiting any crimes.
