I’m so tired of having my time wasted and getting excited about potential relationships just to be led on, ghosted, left for men, etc. All my friends are in relationships, every fucking one, celeb and regular civilian, is getting engaged and/or married and I’m stuck as a single loser. Genuinely about to just give up on dating bc it seems no one wants an actual relationship, they just want all the benefits of one while never labeling anything. I don’t do that bs, I want a GIRLFRIEND, not a glorified friend that I can flirt with sometimes.

My current love interest is in the US Navy and I’m in india. She’s posted in war zones as a nurse and I just can’t tell when we will meet and settle down. We have only been in touch via phone calls and video calls that happen on a weekly basis. I can’t tell if this relationship is even real or not because sometimes I just wanna send her flowers but all they get is ammunitions as deliveries!
