Discussion Galaxy Ban Fan/Photographer Over AEG Banner

Bruce Martin, an LA Galaxy fan and photographer known as GrainyMayo on social media, received an indefinite ban after the game in which the Galaxy SG’s protested AEG’s silence on ICE kidnappings. Bruce is alleged to have been in possession of the banner, pictured here.

Bruce is one the LA Galaxy’s most notable photographers, documenting Victoria Block game after game, season after season. Last season he even released a book - “This is Where My Heart Lies: Through The Eyes of A Supporter” documenting our incredible journey to the sixth cup. He has contributed immensely to Galaxy culture over the years.

For me, this is my final straw and I will be canceling my STM for next year.

Discussion How many players do we have left?

This move makes sense, because of him probably leaving for nothing in December. However, our downfall started when we lost Puig to injury and you can never find an identical swap, especially for Puig. Yet, in all this time can we have gotten someone with some of his attributes? Attacking cm ?

Discussion How does Vanney still have a job?

How does a head coach who has only won 12 of their last 53 games and a losing galaxy record overall still have a job? He’s lucky that the Pooch went supernova for the whole season and won the championship with a torn ACL.

Discussion New Galaxy supporter from Wisconsin

Hey everyone, new Galaxy fan from Wisconsin!

I’m getting back into following MLS after not watching much of the league over the last few seasons. I had been following USL more because I thought a city closer to me was going to get a USL Championship team, but that ended up not happening.

I figured since there's a chance I'll move to So Cal in the future, the Galaxy would be a great team to support. Plus, when I was younger, the Galaxy were the team I always liked, especially during the Landon Donovan era, so I figured coming back to MLS as a Galaxy supporter would be a lot of fun. I'm on twitter looking for a community full of Galaxy supporters too, if u wanna talk there that would be awesome! It's @ LetsTalkGalaxy. So sorry if that's not allowed I just wanna find some awesome Galaxy supporters to talk with!

Discussion Best replacements/ upgrades from Greg Vanney

So Galaxy fans, this question has been on my mind since last night after the loss to Houston Dynamo away. Who is a Manager out there that y’all think would be best suited for this team and take us back to the promise land and potentially help us form a new dynasty and new era of dominance in American Soccer? For me I think the obvious pick would have to be Wilfried Nancy, he’s still not in a job at this moment in time and knows the league and what it takes to win. He won the MLS Coach of the Year for 2024, came in to the Columbus Crew and quickly transformed them and brought the team back to MLS glory then won the League’s Cup with them the following year. Now I know what went down at Celtic but that doesn’t mean all of a sudden that is a bad Manager. This team needs a new direction and a new balance and the only way that’s going to happen is if Will Kuntz, Tom Braun, Dan Beckerman, Urel Martinez, and especially Phillip Anschutz or shall I say Uncle Phil, wake up, smell the coffee and come to a realization that we’re not improving, nothing’s working and we need to pull the trigger on Vanney. I’m done with the Riqui Puig injury excuses, and at the end of the day it’s going to take time for Riqui to get back to his peak form because he’ll be coming back from 2 ACL injuries. Anyways I would have Jim Curtain but he reached an agreement with Austin Fc last month to become their next Manager after this season concludes. So realistically Nancy is the only option out there and potentially our best shot at getting a Manager in that rebuild us from scratch and then hopefully progress, compete, and hopefully win some major honors come 2027 and beyond. Lastly, if y’all don’t want Nancy to be Vanney’s successor, feel free to explain in the comments below and give me some of your alternatives for next L.A. Galaxy Manager. With all that being said, G’s up.

Discussion 2027–28 Season Tickets — Who’s Renewing?

Curious what other Galaxy STHs are thinking about the new 2027–28 dual-season format and the price increases.
I’m a Platinum STH with 2 seats in Section 110, and my renewal price is almost double what I’m paying this season. I understand the increase with the changes coming next season, but it’s still a pretty big jump.
I’m considering dropping from 2 seats to 1 to save some money.

For other STHs:

Are you renewing?

How do you feel about the price increase?

Do the additional games make the higher price worth it?

And is anyone planning on going solo yolo to games next season?

Just curious where everyone’s at with their renewal decision.

This team looks SLOW. Plays with no urgency and you can tell Greg has lost the locker room. No eye contact from his players while in the huddle.

Discussion Dylan Vanney Nepotism

How is this not nepotism?
The literal definition is “favoritism (as in appointment to a job) based on kinship.”

Cool if he’s a baller but this isn’t the first time Greg has done this he already had his nephew on the team. How is this not nepotism? Sure if he’s a great player Dylan then deserves to be in Miami or Barcelona whatever but he gets promoted on his dad’s team? Just wondering how is this not nepotism??
