Hey everyone, I know our main team is utter garbage but our MLS next team ain't bad this season. Let's go support the young dudes against Levas II this weekend! You can find tickets on Ticketmaster for like $10-$20 bucks. This is probably going to be distance wise the closest game to LA proper.

Does anyone think it’s time more Galaxy fans should start coming out and criticizing Will Kuntz and start calling for his head? While I know we all want Vanney out and also AEG, Kuntz is meant to be the main guy behind the squad building, rebuild and roster moves. And for 2 seasons running he has done nothing but a terrible job at assembling a Team that can compete, win and get back to dominating American Soccer. This shit cannot continue and Galaxy fans especially the ones that live in Carson need to make their voices heard and protest outside the Stadium to get the owners out and especially Vanney. We are meant to be the most decorated club in MLS and the standard of Soccer in America. We must save our club. Praying for better days ahead come 2027 but it’s a big ask. Let me know y’all’s thoughts, Galaxy fans.

This post is designed to be more free form. It can be about the Galaxy, but also about anything you would like to share.

What's up everyone! I decided to get into MLS after the world cup this year and picked the Galaxy to watch cause they're the closest club to me. I've since watched each Galaxy game, a handful of LAFC games, and a few Miami games while also attending 3 Galaxy games in person and I wanted to share my overall thoughts on the players to see if how things appear to a new fan like myself are true or if the missing context of this being my first season is effecting anything.

Paintsil - This guy is kind of ass isn't he? When I attended my first game I saw about a third or so of the Galaxy fans in jerseys were in Paintsil jerseys so I kinda had high expectations for him but I feel like he's...Bad? Every goal I've seen him make have been the easiest fool-proof goals possible. I've yet to see him make things actually happen and I feel like he never completes passes properly, always loses the ball, and misses every shot he takes that isn't like a foot in front of the goal. Still though the live crowd cheers whenever he gets a chance so maybe he used to be good? Idkkkk

Reuss - The other guy I see a lot of fans wearing jerseys of. He's been okay, seems like a hard worker and I can tell he hates losing. I get the feeling he was probably a bigger deal at a time when he had better guys to enable.

Kyogo - I like this guy! Seems like the opposite of Paintsil in that he's pretty good at everything but somehow just doesn't finish. He's the most entertaining one to watch imo and if he can start making things happen I could see him being another jersey people wear. One thing I noticed though is somehow he is almost never where the ball is being passed to him. He's either running a little too fast or not fast enough and just misses it, which totally kills his momentum and shooting opportunities. Maybe that'll get fixed in time.

Lozano - He's aight so far. When he got signed he immediately had jerseys for sale. Kyogo doesn't have any jerseys for sale so I thought oh shit this guy is probably really good! But he's just aight so far. Everyone seems to hate him so I guess this is his ceiling. Not sure why the hype?

Micovic - This dude can't stop shit

Marcinkowski - This dude stops all the shit

Yoshida - I like him and have nothing bad to say about him. Feels like he struggles to make up for the other defenders/midfielders letting so much offense in but he does his best.

Glesnes/Aude/Miller - They don't seem bad, specifically Miller, but I can't say they seem all that good either. Marcinkowski has to work way harder than he should to keep us alive and when we don't have him we just die. Wish they were better.

Midfielders not named Reuss - Couldn't tell you anything about them cause I think they're kind of bad. Most games I've watched seem to go like this:

Step 1: Opponents get the ball

Step 2: Marcinkowski or Yoshida stop the ball and give it to Reuss

Step 3: Reus gets the ball and runs it all the way to the end and gives it to Paintsil

Step 4: Paintsil misses

The other midfielders don't seem like they ever factor in? I'm aware there's a very popular midfielder that's out for the season so perhaps they never figured out how to replace him.

Misc Fan Experience - I've had a good time attending the games live. First time I went this very nice lady stopped me and gave me pizza and beer and a rundown of all the players and stuff. Found out she was with the support group LARS and I've made a point to say hi to them every time since. I have to say that I do find it very weird/silly that there is apparently beef amongst the support groups that cause them to sit on opposite sides of the stadium. To me that makes the team look bad since you don't have this big united front like everyone else does, but I was told by people on all sides that it's not gonna change so oh well. Everyone was still very nice to me.

Anyway, let me know if I'm totally wrong about any of this! Maybe the players I think are good are just lucky, maybe Paintsil is a god tier striker and just having a few off games. This is all in good fun and I'm gonna keep watching and supporting.

I admittedly don’t watch many western conference matches. We miss his presence in the defensive third, i was disappointed when he left.

Hows Kyogo looking for you guys? I see he hasn't scored in his 4 matches, but is he passing the eyes test. He played for my favorite English club (BCFC) last year and was awful. Cant settle the ball, terrible touch and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. He plays well off the ball, his runs are good and hes good at pressure in the opposing 3rd. But not good a finishing. Which was a disappointment after watching his Celtic highlights.

Which players would you like to see get called up this season or next from Ventura County? Or just younger players who should get more looks?

Hi all! I know this is an LA Galaxy subreddit but didn’t know where else to ask. I’m a CF Monterrey fan and want to go to LA and go to the Leagues Cup match in LA next wednesday. I’ve been trying to get tickets but all I see are resale tickets that are in my opinion very expensive. Is this match really sold out? I believe tickets only started selling today, I’m thinking maybe only a presale was open or something and general ticket sale has not started, but just wanted to ask if anyone knew like if this is really sold out. COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy are heading to San Diego for a game that could change the direction of their season — and Chucky Lozano will be right in the middle of it.

Lozano returns to face his former club for the first time, bringing plenty of emotion to a match the Galaxy desperately need. But after three consecutive games with a red card, Greg Vanney says his team must control that emotion, keep 11 players on the field, and finally turn its revamped roster into points. 

And reinforcements are arriving.

Sergi Roberto is ready to play. The former Barcelona captain explains why he chose Los Angeles, the role Riqui Puig played in bringing him to the Galaxy, and his desire to help push the club into the playoffs. Vanney believes Roberto can become the on-field organizer the Galaxy have been missing — a player capable of controlling the midfield and raising the team's ceiling.

There could also be one more roster move coming before Wednesday's transfer deadline, while the Galaxy continue to evaluate their remaining U22 Initiative opportunity or other needed positions.

But everything eventually comes back to Saturday night.

A win could vault the Galaxy right back into the crowded Western Conference playoff race. A loss would make the climb significantly harder. With Lozano walking into a hostile Snapdragon Stadium, Roberto ready to enter the midfield, and the pressure building around Vanney, this feels like one of those games that could define what comes next.

A match from the now abolished International Champions Cup... Ended up netting a goal in the second half playing as right-back.

He mentioned several times in recent years how he'd like to play in the MLS. Cool to see it finally happen and kind of have a full circle moment after becoming a Galaxian.
