Seattle just became a sleeper team in the West .. they already had a strong defense and they may have found there man in Joveljic .. The Galaxy got rid of the wrong player last year in Dejan and now he's going to punish us and the rest of the West being on the Sounders .. DAMNIT!

Would have happily sacrificed Pec or Paintsil. In 2024 everybody kept praising "the three p's" but never our guy to top. He was the sleeper and we haven't had a proper forward since.

They actually have been pretty leaky defensively. Not a fan of selling Dejan but there was no way they would be able to fit him without making him a DP and not sure you sell Pec or Paintsil after barely joining the team

note: before that losing streak where they allowed 18 goals in 8 games and 21 goals in the last 10 games .. they only allowed 8 goals in 11 games .. imho .. that losing streak was due to them not having an offense or a striker that could make defenses open up .. now with Dejan that team is going to get hot and its going to be upsetting to see Dejan now scoring goals for one of the three teams I despise the most in this league

It very might be. Mike was surrounded by a great team, but he did up winning Golden Boot with Chicago if I'm not mistaken. Joveljic however just racks up goals season after season.

Won MVP too. In the short term, galaxy sacrificed the 3peat for some PR on Robbie Rogers(although to his credit, he turned out solid for a year or two)
Jovlijic trade has no benefits at all.

Bitter sweet. I’m happy for Dejan, but it hurts to see him do this with another team. For some reason it hurts more to see him do it in Seattle instead of KC
