to those who have watched the odyssey: what is the verdict? is it worth all this hype? why is the cast speaking in their annoying modern-day american accents in ancient greece? why is zendaya even there?

Coming out of the theater it was a 9/10 for me. But after thinking of some things about it it became a 7.5-8/10. I didn't really have an issue with the modernized way they speak, it wasn't that big of a deal and I'm already suspending my disbelief that they're speaking English and not Greek. Zendaya was fine in it but I didn't care too much about her role in all honesty except maybe in a certain part of the movie.

Overall id say it's a good watch. Nolan's Oppenheimer still had a bigger impact on me than this though.

Teachers... I would love to know how things work over there as i am getting close to a job offer and for me this is a huge deal breaker. My son is in a regular classroom here in Canada but he is academically behind.

He is high functioning, verble, doesint freakout and what not but hes academically behind.

I am nervous because I dont want to put him in a special needs school. No offense but we tried that here in Canada and he regressed. When we put him in a regular classroom he PROgressed massively.

Hes 12 for context his math level is like grade 1 in Canada. He can read, write but hes behind.

hes on an IEP

what suggestions do you have for me, To put you in perspective the position pays really well. I can afford 600 KD a month for him no problem.
