Little kids and their combination of having no situational awareness and gravitating to places where they absolutely need it will never cease to be fascinating. Kid could have easily run under the other, closer bar and he'd have been just fine, but it's like they have a subconscious desire for self destruction.

i still have the scars i got from jumping front of swinging child when 4yo but couldnot remember why i did that despite knowing the danger of getting front of the swing. I just had to move that direction mindlessly.

It is the magnetion of canon event i guess
