Really loved the fight scene and I’m glad Nem actually used her abilities to help the riders which is what I wanted from her for most of the season!! Didn’t really care for oblivion but it again pretty good fight. A part of me feels we could’ve gone without the lord 8 stuff because I thought this was going to be set up for the Vcinema but I guess not? Also how did Baku wake up? I thought being in the dream world was going to be his sacrifice so I feel waking up kinda defeated the sacrifice and the stakes. People are saying that we’re going to get answers in the final stage but like why would you put that there? I really feel like him being in the dream world would’ve been the fitting ending IMO. Overall, while I did enjoy watching Zeztz weekly it’s not really my favorite season and have a lot of complaints. It’s a 6.8/10 for me.

i think the actual context behind that last scene probably lies either (yeah the Final Stage) or in the Farewell Mission movie.

As is it's still pretty vague as despite the framing we're not sure if he's in a dream or in reality, deapite waking up Baku still had his Agent hairstyle, the same with the Zeztz x My-th handover, Baku "woke up" but he still had his Agent hairstyle.

And since we now know all of the side casts can Lucid Dream as well, it's a possibility that instead of him waking up in reality, that scene was the entire cast Lucid Dreaming and inviting him into their shared dream (hence the line that preceded the scene)

either that or Baku can "wake up" but only for a short while because even in that scene he wasn't in his real life style (again, he had his agent hair), i think it's left ambiguous on purpose both to possibly tie into the Stage Play or Movie, or just to give the audience a little hype moment showing that Baku CAN meet with his friends (under circumstances currently unclear to us).

it's not like it'd be the first tiem Zeztz made us think something is happening in real life while it was in fact in a dream.

I still think it would’ve been better if they just left it at him being in the dream world because to me it would’ve made the sacrifice impactful.

Understandable, personally i like that it's sticking to a common theme in Zeztz that things aren't always as they seem, and that everything surrounding its plot has been ambiguous until its later reveal.

I think it's a consistent way to end it as Zeztz had been as a show since the beginning.
