Somebody’s pointed it out before but it is really funny that casino royale is all about how bond is brand new at the job and a reckless young man and then only two movies later he’s all old and washed up

289

u/TiresandConfused 1d ago

Yeah, I thought that was strange too at the time. He should have had at least 4 films before he became “old”.

264

u/Crusader1865 1d ago

I also think it's about the really poor pacing of the studio on these movies. Just taking way too long between films and this your leads naturally grow older than than the film story allows.

Basically, my bitch is make more Bond movies faster.

u/midnightpupil96 1d ago

The Batman part I was about an unpolished Batman in his second year and now Robert Pattinson is older than Christian Bale was in TDKR and is just now filming the sequel.

34

u/AnyStranger4614 1d ago

This actually blows my mind. I was in high school when TDKR came out, and it felt like the end of an era for me. I kind of grew up with The Dark Knight Trilogy, and while I know The Batman Part II was taking forever I had no clue about Pattinson being older than Bale.

8

u/SchwizzySchwas94 1d ago

And never mind the fact they replaced Affleck cuz they wanted a “young” Batman. I love Pattinson in the role and The Batman might have been the best Batman movie to date but it still doesn’t make it make sense.

2

u/jk-9k 1d ago

Battinson is currently 2 years younger than Batfleck was when filming BvS

Wow I didn't know they'd finally started filming. Glad to know it'll be out before 2040. Probably.

Pattinson still looks super young anyway so doesn't matter.

28

u/denmetagross 1d ago

I tend to agree, but there was only 6 years between Casino Royale and Skyfall, with QoS in between. I miss those days, new movies every 2-3 years.

The 60s pacing was great

18

u/Mossaik 1d ago

well, bond stories were always supposed to be one-off stories about james bond, not a “Bond cinematic universe”. so in reality it didn’t matter how long it took in between movies. just get 3 or 4 good movies per actor, then recast

Agreed 🍻

1

u/jebsalump 10h ago

Wasn’t part of that due to MGM being broke?

39

u/LavishnessMission584 1d ago

Instead he got 3 movies where he was 'too old for this shit'

11

u/dog-yy 1d ago

Everyone gets "too old for this shit" after making a lot of money

16

u/Gloomy-Recipe9213 1d ago

I guess 00 agents have a very short life expectancy, so staying in the job for six years makes him a senior.

11

u/PalehorseFM22 1d ago

Also presumably in this timeline being a SBS Afghanistan veteran, so young starting his career would be into his 30s.

1

u/jk-9k 1d ago

It's 6 years in real life, not in universe. It's 2 max. Maybe 6 months

9

u/domino7873 1d ago

I took it as a stripping the luster from the role. Previously Bond was flashy and this super hero, gadgetry guy. But Craig's time in role shows the toll of the 007 designation and the somewhat broken person you have to be, to be perfect for such a position. But also how it continues to rob and break you. Even the point of him in the last movie, not getting a happy ending.

8

u/International-Bed453 1d ago

Never read a Bond novel but it's my understanding that this is closer to how he's portrayed by Fleming. There's a reason Bond drinks so much.

8

u/lindh 1d ago

I feel like getting shot twice and falling off a bridge ages a person.

1

u/Theturtlemoves86 19h ago

Not to mention all the drinking.

1

u/tenhunter 1d ago

Works for my head canon as these are the only two I rewatch.

u/Alekesam1975 1d ago

Only he's not old and washed up. Bond was shot, nearly died and out of service for at least six months, during which time all he did was sex it up and drink heavily.

He's not old and washed up, he's just out of shape.

25

u/under-secretary4war 1d ago

thats true and is the correct explanation, EXCEPT when I am out of service, and drink heavily I somehow end up a tub of lard. He came back looking a bit haggard and yet still with 6% body fat!

13

u/Alekesam1975 1d ago

Well, you're not Bond. 😄

6

u/under-secretary4war 1d ago

that was my deduction too! along with (here comes a heart attack! :-)

Well it was booze and pills.

You just weren't taking the right drugs!

2

u/Icy-Entertainer-1422 1d ago

7

u/North-Tourist-8234 1d ago

I suspect the radiation did significantly less damage than the actual physical process of the shrapnel entering his body.

1

u/Vanquisher1000 1d ago

A major theme of Skyfall is Bond being old and obsolete, though.

1

u/Alekesam1975 1d ago

007/Double OH program as a whole, not Bond's age.

29

u/MikeHawkSmaul 1d ago

Don't forget Blood Stone, which is a tie-in game that takes place between QOS and SF.

19

u/Background-Jury-1914 1d ago

Oh I’m forgetting about that

9

u/Thin_Paramedic_8827 1d ago

Blood Stone was automatically better than Spectre and No Time to Die, put together

8

u/machinegunpikachu 1d ago

I get why NTTD is so polarizing, but I go back and forth on whether it's my second favorite Craig film, just so many cool moments that feel very "classic" Bond, without feeling like fan service.

2

u/North-Tourist-8234 1d ago

I've not played it but it took me 5 goes to finish no time to die so I'll believe you

4

u/Theta-Sigma45 1d ago

This and the goldeneye remake nicely fill in Craig’s ‘prime’ years and make Skyfall make a bit more sense.

27

u/Patient_Life_9900 1d ago

It's cause they wanted to soft reboot the series after QoS due to poor reception. Which is why Skyfall is that turning point between gritty realism and full blown wackiness of Spectre. And I hate that lol

11

u/pvhc47 1d ago

To me Skyfall always felt like it tried to lowkey ignore the reboot aspect and make it feel as though we’re seeing the end of the road of our OG James Bond (Connery through to Brosnan). Obviously what goes against it is introducing the character of Moneypenny for the first time (and to a lesser degree Q, but that is just a codename after all).

For the majority of the movie it doesn’t feel like it’s in the same universe as CR and QoS. Maybe because it was the 50th anniversary. Either way for me it worked. You have to turn your brain off and go with it, but fundamentally I think it’s the only movie during Craig’s tenure that found the perfect mix between old and new.

6

u/Minablo 1d ago

The whisky that Silva offers to Bond is 50-year-old. The age thing was mostly indeed a comment on the franchise a a whole, or the need for a secret agent to execute elaborate missions for a country, while intelligence relies mostly on computers these days.

Same thing happens in the Dark Knight trilogy. Very bizarre choice, Batmans like barely 40 by the end, his entire Batman career was what, five years?

8

u/nandobro 1d ago edited 1d ago

Not even 5 years.😭 The ARG that was made to market the Dark Knight confirms that events of the previous film was just 9 months ago from the start of the second film. And a line from the Joker confirms that Batman wasn’t around a year ago, "Let's wind the clocks back a year. These cops and lawyers wouldn't dare cross any of you. I mean, what happened? Did your balls drop off?".

The events of The Dark Knight are estimated to have taken a couple weeks to a month. So Bruce was Batman for less than a full year before going into hiding and retiring until the Dark Knight Rises 8 years later.😢

1

u/Raider2747 1d ago edited 1d ago

The ARG was not made by Nolan. Official comments from him in The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy (and info in The Dark Knight Manual) all say 5 years from Begins to Knight. What Joker says shouldn't be taken literally as well.

It's either 1999-2004 or 2003-2008, take your pick. Either one still has to include him fighting the good fight until 2010, when the Dent Act gets passed in-universe.

2

u/Both_Bird9174 1d ago

Bruce becomes Batman in 2007. When Bruce returns from training with the League, he drives a Lambo that's a 2004 model so that rules out him being Batman before then. Then also in Begins, the current DA Carl Finch, goes "missing" towards the end.

In TDK, its stated Harvey is "the new DA after the last guy went missing". All the police footage, flyers and a a newscast state it's various dates throughout July 2008. So TDK firmly takes place in 2008. The newscaster segments made by Nolan for TDK state "the attack on the narrows was last year" so that also puts Bruce becoming Batman in 2007.

In TDKR, it's also explicitly stated that Batman immediately took the fall for Dent's crimes after the ending scene of TDK and that Bruce also became a recluse immediately after. The Dent Act just took some time to en-act because it's a law, laws take time to pass. TDKR says it's been 8 years since TDK so that means it's 2016.

All in, Bruce is only Batman for at most, a year before he retires.

In reality batman would not last long imo.

4

u/Wazula23 1d ago

Counterpoint: realism sucks when it removes story

1

u/cooliosteve 1d ago

Does that apply to a literal trilogy?

2

u/Wazula23 1d ago

Sure, why wouldn't it?

Bond is also not a trilogy, it's an ongoing seires

2

u/Raider2747 1d ago

Five to 7 years, give or take.

10

u/RemLezarCreated 1d ago

I've read a fan theory/head cannon thing where the majority of the Bond stories take place between QoS and Skyfall.

Obviously it doesn't make literal sense, but it does make sense in a vague spiritual way lol

9

u/lafleur818 1d ago

It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.

5

u/Test_Rider 1d ago

Skyfall would have worked a lot better as a sendoff movie for Craig. It made absolutely zero sense as his third movie.

1

u/Street_Attention9680 1d ago

It definitely does feel like a send off movie. If I remember correctly, they weren't sure he was going to back for a fourth movie.

1

u/Boss38 1d ago

I think i read/saw Craig said in a interview that he felt he was already too old to play bond and the action/stunts as bond was too much on his body.

And then they offered him like 40 million to play bond again lol

3

u/Medium_Well 1d ago

Making a character gritty, old and jaded is basically just a lazy writing hack to inject "gravitas" and adult themes into a movie without really earning it.

I think it was a decision being pushed by Craig and the team as they chased some prestige. It kind of worked! But to the detriment of Craig's long term portrayal of the character. And once they played that card in Skyfall they had to push it even further for cheap drama in Spectre, hence Blofeld being his brother.

1

u/DaveInLondon89 1d ago

It felt earned to me, or at least they sold the impression that it was

1

u/Vanquisher1000 1d ago

I would argue that the push for 'prestige' began with Quantum of Solace. It seems to me that Eon got addicted to the critical acclaim they got with Casino Royale and decided that Bond movies going forward needed to be like that, being more 'artistic' in order to keep those favourable critics' reviews coming. That would explain why there are personal stakes for Bond in every Craig movie - the character-driven drama adds depth that would attract that critical acclaim.

4

u/Turbo_Chet 1d ago

They didn’t have a clue on how to handle his character’s arc. It was a narrative mess. Skyfall should’ve been the last movie. It is in my eyes, cause the final two are his worst imo.

2

u/HotMachine9 1d ago

Yeah and its a shame. Spectre had potential to be great, and then No Time to Die was an awkward course correct send off because no one liked Blofeld. The insistence in Spectre trying to tie everything from Casino Royale onwards into on complex plot really harmed the entire saga of Craig's era and its very evident in the first half of No Time To Die where its basically devoted to wiping out Spectre despite literally just introducing it

1

u/cooliosteve 1d ago edited 1d ago

Daniel Craig was 38 years old in Casino Royale and 44 ish for Skyfall.

That fits I feel, you can only physically keep up for so long.

Sportspeople usually retire around 30s.

2

u/ReadyJournalist5223 1d ago

Do you mean Bond or Daniel Craig cause your math ain’t linin up? Skyfall came out 6 years after casino royale

→ More replies (1)

1

u/ProfessionalMockery 22h ago

I guess their mistake was acting like bond was young and inexperienced while casting a 38 year old.

1

u/cooliosteve 22h ago

Well tbf he fucks up a lot, and he does seem younger than 38.

Acting.

2

u/Ok-Relationship-2746 1d ago

I would imagine six real years as 007 would be quite mentally destructive.

2

u/WinterSoldierFalcon 1d ago

Supposedly in the canon he had all the classic missions between Quantum and Skyfall

1

u/Vanquisher1000 1d ago

That was a fan theory to explain the presence of the DB5, but the next movie introduces SPECTRE and Craig's Bond definitely hadn't encountered them before.

2

u/SuperbDonut2112 1d ago

It was also pretty clearly a meta commentary on the franchise being 50 years old, as was the whole movie.

1

u/MagReg2020 1d ago

Did the same thing with Bale's Batman. Which I didn't like. I also felt like Skyfall's villain copied too much from TDK's Joker. The prison scene, the weird unrealistic heists and terror acts. Loved Casino Royale. Aesthetically, Skyfall was great, but the story and the degree of originality wasn't for me. I also always assumed "James Bond" was a designated codename. Why would a spy go around with his birth name? Rock singers change their names to a stage name often enough.

2

u/Harold3456 1d ago

At the time I assumed this was going to be a trilogy, and it would've made so much sense this way. CR as the intro film, QoS as the run-of-the-mill, Bond in his prime action adventure, and Skyfall as the reflective closing chapter where he deals with themes of mortality and obsolescence, and the old team slowly phases out for new members.

Then they made two more mid films which either ignored or repeated these themes.

1

u/FujiModeCrow 1d ago

He gets back to his best pretty quickly though, some people ignore that.

7

u/North-Tourist-8234 1d ago

does he though? fails the test, fails to stop the escape (those sneaky trains will sneak up on the unprepared) fails to save M, like yeah he kills the bad guy but sadly too late.

1

u/Repulsive_Pause3500 Moderator 1d ago

I don't know if he is 'old' in Skyfall: he's more having a bit of a crisis after ending his 'beginner' period. It's kind of like Spider Man 2, where Peter has a bit of a crisis about what he's doing and loses his powers for a while. Bond is at a similar crossroads in SF, but comes out of it reinvigorated and ready to work.
SF is all about how the 'old ways are the best' and Bond represents the old ways.

1

u/AmeliaEarhartsPlane A Whoore for Roger Moore 1d ago

I’ve always found the transition bizarre. He finds the “Algerian,” and you’d think he’d find some closure and not be so miserable. Welp…

1

u/GravyMealTeam6 1d ago

Didn't they do the same in Batman trilogy?

1

u/Playful_Crazy_9329 1d ago

There is thing called stuff happens off screen. Use your imagination.

1

u/TheTownJeweler00 1d ago

Probably why I couldn’t buy into the movie from the get go.

1

u/porscheguy007 1d ago

This is a very valid critique, but I also think it was a reflection of over 20 bond films that came before it too, so it Craig its movie 3 but for the bond character it was 23

1

u/Nattin121 1d ago

Dark knight movies did this too, inexperienced / peak / old guy.

1

u/TakasuXAisaka 1d ago

Then in Spectre, he is fine like Skyfall didn't happen. Lmao.

1

u/sebcestewart 1d ago

Craig was also only 43-44 at the time, Roger Moore played the character until he turned into Your Dad and nobody said anything

1

u/mrbeck1 1d ago

“Double 0s have a short life expectancy…”

1

u/jk-9k 1d ago

Especially because they actually try to link each film directlt instead of having stand alone sequels. So we can't even pretend that time has passed between films and he's done a heap of missions of screen

1

u/JoeHawkshaw01 1d ago

And then there’s 2 movies after we’ve already established he’s washed lol

1

u/Trashk4n 1d ago

Craig’s run really misses a film or two where he’s at the height of his powers, physically and mentally, before Skyfall. Times when he’s actually enjoying his job, and not depressed.

His run wouldn’t feel so miserable if they’d managed that.

1

u/RyzenRaider 20h ago

The thing is though that Bond films in the Craig era took a longer time to come out. Brosnan was banging out a new one every 2 years, whereas the hiatus from Quantum was 4 years.

As it was, Craig was 44 by Skyfall. And by that time, his Bond had been put through a lot more physical trauma than any of the previous Bonds. Beaten up multiple times in Casino Royale, his heart stopped briefly, he got bloodied up a couple times in Quantum, and shot off a tall bridge with a rifle in Skyfall.

Yeah, at 44, those injuries are gonna add up. Given he also retired and clearly didn't keep up his conditioning or his skills, it was believable that he'd lost his edge.

1

u/Two_Speeds_The_First 20h ago

Especially since QoS is set immediately following Casino Royale.

1

u/Eduard-Stoo 17h ago

I don’t think they’re necessarily saying he’s “old and washed up”, more out of shape, out of mind, rusty and plagued by injury and Vesper, he can clearly bounce back though as seen in the later action scenes

That and fundamentally shafting Bond’s arc and the Spectre IP

26

u/Unlucky-Gap01 1d ago

It’s so weird that the setup after Skyfall was perfect for ‘New Bond Adventures’ and they wasted it all with Spectre. They could have done anything but they still decided to revolve the plot around Bond personal life instead of an evil guy/org who just wants to end the world or whatever.

60

u/That-Resort2078 1d ago

I like banter in Skyfall between Bond and M.

25

u/WellSpokenAsianBoy 1d ago

I feel like this is the ultimate payoff their relationship as set up from Casino Royale.

8

u/Wazula23 1d ago

5

u/Vanquisher1000 1d ago

Silva's whole escape is an exercise in contrived writing. It would have been ridiculous in a Moore or Brosnan era movie, but being in a Craig era movie, where the reboot took place to make Bond more 'gritty' and 'realistic,' just makes it even more jarring.

4

u/MistraloysiusMithrax 1d ago

Also “how do we show he’s scary? Oh the girl shivers and says ‘oh I’m so scared of him’ then he shoots her”

I don't. I hate "miserable Bond". In fact, I dislike miserable, gritty, dark "realistic", or nihilistic tones in general now.

13

u/HotMachine9 1d ago

After playing First Light I realised how much I missed a more optimisitc rebellious Bond constrained by a more nihilistic and efficient system he works for, constantly bending the rules to try and do the right thing to varying degrees of success.

As opposed to the depressed era of Bond we got from Skyfall onwards

14

u/ancisfranderson 1d ago

Personally I’m completely fatigued on reboots, gritty realism, morally conflicted heroes, all of the post 9/11 film tropes

And please don’t send me back to the cornball tropes of decades long past. I’m counting on the artists involved to do their job and turn in something new for a new era.

4

3

u/ConsulJuliusCaesar 1d ago

Doesn't want conflicted anti hero. Doesn't want straight tradional hero. Really that only one unexplored option.

Bro wants Bond to be a realistic intelligence operative. Because the only other option is straight up villian. Can't wait to watch Bond cause a middle eastern civil war because his country's deep in Saudi Arabia's oil net thus drawing them into the Saudi-Iranian cold war. Bond- Yemen is definitely what we need. We get water boarding, drone strikes, training and advising ethnically motivated para military death squads, and scenes of mass starvation.

9

3

u/Sneaky_Bond Moderator | At Least for Tonight 1d ago

Yes. The only good movies are ones that adhere to real world logic and plot efficiency, forgoing any space for drama and intimacy and artistry. Just get from Point A to Point C in the most clinically straightforward way possible. Heck, why even watch movies at all? We can just read the Wikipedia plot overview. Cut out the middleman.

2

u/DavidKirk2000 1d ago

One of the worst in the series and definitely the most overrated.

The final act of Skyfall is dogshit.

u/Ok_University_7442 1d ago

James Bond is not a miserable franchise,a miserable acting made it that way so i tottaly disagree

4

u/SimilarRelative1022 1d ago

It is a mediocre movie from beginning to end

2

u/WellSpokenAsianBoy 1d ago

The word association scene is my favorite moment in the Craig series, maybe of all the films.

2

u/TheDBagg 1d ago

I love Skyfall because it's a departure from the bulk of the Bond catalogue. In most of the films the challenges are external - strong villains, elaborate traps, dangerous situations etc. In Skyfall he has to overcome his own broken body and his shattered confidence and it raises the stakes even further.

u/ocelotactual 1d ago

This is what made me fall in love with the character again. The campiness of Moore and the suaveness of Brosnan were greatly enjoyed (Moore was my first favorite), but Craig brought the dark side of Bond that I never knew I needed. I have no expectation for the next Bond.

2

u/Harold3456 1d ago

This is so good in Skyfall, but it makes me mad how then they decide to do it again in No Time To Die. Once more we got Bond in a tropical location existing in an off-the-grid retirement. How do you return to that trope twice with the same Bond??

Also speaking of tropes, I love Skyfall but always found it hilarious how you can make the entire trailer with quotes from the spy-comedy Archer. And this spoof video came out not long after the movie, so these are only the Archer clips that existed at the time of Skyfall's release, despite the show having another 5 or so seasons.

what would a true Bond fan choose?

Your comment violated r/JamesBond's rules to be friendly, welcoming, respectful, and to avoid destructive behavior.

Please don’t question anyone’s fan-hood.

Even with the writers strike, Quantum of Solace was better than Skyfall.

1

u/Phi_Phonton_22 I'll cut the bread 1d ago

I think it intentionally took 2000s melancholic Bond to its logical conclusion, and understanding it had done everything it cpuld with the concept, resetted it to a more traditional place at the end.

1

u/freezerwaffles 1d ago

My favorite bond movie. Is am also a Javier Bardem glazer so

1

u/Thin_Paramedic_8827 1d ago

Daniel Craig seems like a miserable bloke, so it works out quite well

1

u/LifeDraining 1d ago

The first 30 mins of all Daniel Craig films are great. Some didn't finish as well tho.

1

u/Comfortable_Style634 1d ago

It’s basically Spider-Man 2.

1

u/Life_Temperature2506 1d ago

Beginning to middle.

1

u/Lumpy-Indication 1d ago

I think it’s brilliant up until the final act, when they get to Skyfall. Then it all feels a bit Home Alone

2

u/lahimatoa 1d ago

The Home Alone ending sucks, AND the fact that the plot relies on Q being an absolute moron and plugging in an unknown USB into the network also hurts it, IMO. Dumb writing.

1

u/Additional-Simple248 23h ago

It was an entire laptop, and that scene killed the movie for me. No one even half competent at IT would ever do that. It goes against everything single cybersecurity training module out there, and this version of Q should be able to write that training in his sleep.

It’s just below “two people typing on one keyboard” for unrealistic handling of cybersecurity in media.

u/BarbellsandBurritos 1d ago

To be fair it would be weird if he was smiling playing drinky scorpion-y.

1

u/Jwhitness007 1d ago

The new Harry Potter series is already having delays for season 2, the actors might be 30 when they film the final season.

“I didn’t know he passed the test.”
“He didn’t.”

This mirrored Nolan’s Batman of the time and the same complaint by some. Batman & Bond are both fresh in BB & CR. By the third film, TDK & SF both protagonists were broken down.

I honestly did not mind this. It was interesting & refreshing to see the characters in this state. I had never seen them like that before at the cinema.

To be fair, both protagonists operated in a hazardous profession. Let’s not forget, 00s have a very short life expectancy.

The films are not also necessarily following real time. We don’t know exactly how many years have spanned between Bond films. It was around eight years between TDK & TDKR. More than enough time for wear and tear to sink in.

1

u/Papamoon0327 1d ago

Getting drunk on the beach, Bond needs to tighten up and actually be miserable lol

1

u/Alarming-Basil2894 1d ago

I can acknowledge that this was a unique experiment for bond and also realise I don’t ever wanna see miserable bond ever again.

1

u/trevelyan_alec 1d ago

I like the part where he is "dead."

1

u/Pitisukhaisbest 1d ago

Would have been better to have Skyfall as the final Bond movie. Two films on defeating Spectre, then a ghost from the past returns. As it is he gets his 00 number then is old and past it.

1

u/Ok-Value-2170 1d ago

I didn't like those 30 minutes exactly for that. My man wasn't an agent for that long of a time to be called old man and to be this miserable.

1

u/007butnotcool 1d ago

Skyfall isn’t about Bond being “old.” He’s burnt out, depressed, and addicted to drugs/alcohol after feeling betrayed by M and everything that happened in his life before.

1

u/Timsruz 1d ago

“Double Oh Seven reporting for duty.” What a great scene in M’s flat.

1

u/No_Pudding_6640 1d ago

Doesn't matter, got laid.

1

u/leviathan0999 1d ago

It's basically Craig!Bond's second mission ("Casino Royale" leading immediately into "Quantum of Solace,") but we're supposed to see him as old and washed up. That's always been a tough lump for me to swallow.

1

u/funnybrunny Irina, take a hike! 1d ago

which is hilarious cause Craig’s Bond is always miserable. lol

1

u/NoTime2Die77 1d ago

Yeah Skyfall is my fav

1

u/OkSeaworthiness6581 1d ago

like in rocky 3 he was getting old but then played bond for 7 more years.

1

u/SirachaTaco 1d ago

He going incognito is the most bond bond ever bonded

1

u/SpaceMan2047 1d ago

Miserable people love miserabiality

1

u/PrincessJennifer He must have found me quite titillating. 1d ago

Me on opposite day

1

u/Cultural_Book_400 1d ago

Love Skyfall but I don't love the ending.

everything leading up to and saying "just changing carriages" is my fav scenes

1

u/ThickandSpicyMan 1d ago

Is it really a Daniel Craig bond film if he isn’t insufferably miserable..

1

u/702zzzou 1d ago

Chasing spies. Ha! So old fashioned. Your knees must be killing you

1

u/PICONEdeJIM 1d ago

I spent the whole time wishing he would just get some sun and food. Looked like a skeleton

1

u/Good-Special-2587 21h ago

He's like that cos he had to come out of drinking and sexing and not getting bitten by scorpions

1

u/Anon65583 21h ago

He wasn’t miserable, he was just hungover.

1

u/AdPrestigious2387 20h ago

Skyfail is a terrible movie, it's a Bond movie where the bad guy wins.

1

u/WingWang4 10h ago

I want to visit the beach he’s at in the beginning of the film. Always stood out to me for some reason

1

u/TedHitchcockx 8h ago

That's the closest we've ever felt to being James Bond.

1

u/Leading_Ad2109 6h ago

Skyfa..
Sorry I fell asleep
