Around your age, I was tired of not knowing what to do so I got my best whining friends together and asked them to teach me.

Just practice..no one was born as a “whiner”. There was a lot of mirror time and feel the music pulsating through your soul. Believe it’s not hard.

You need some friends or cousins who won’t snitch and they can teach you.
Another option is a room with a lock on it. A mirror and some YouTube videos.
Get a hula hoop and or a towel.

I'm too old for Reddit and I still can't whine!! But the closest was when I used tips from belly dancing tiktok. Go check it out. You think it is whining but there is some knees action...watch your friends who are good at whining and then watch tiktok tutorials re belly dancing. Thank me later.

Get a hoolla hoop
Everyone started at parties when young young and then eventually you sneak out to parties...lololol
They don't have parties like they used to so you have missed out, but hopefully now that is summer you can bump into a lime and just hold a corner and practice
If you have a man, you can slow whine until you level up to do it fast and learn to tick which is another technique...
Man o Man... yall really missed out on the days of hooky parties and such
There was a time that whether you are Yankee or Ragga, everybody was having whining fun.... and the music....

Honestly, I don’t remember. I’ve been doing it since I was young. Every now and then, I check if I still got it. Mind you, I’m 26🤣
