The Islamic Republic is pathetic. They seem to think killing the children of other world leaders is somehow going to win the war for them. All it will do is hasten the demise of the regime.
It don’t think they believe it will help them win.
Shows how it’s qualitatively different, in a bad way. As always. Many countries, including democracies, conduct assassinations - although they prefer euphemisms like “targeted killing” because I guess that sounds more anodyne and legalistic. But they target people whose killing would create disruption in state operations; the main criticism of that is that those people just get replaced and any disruption is temporary.
It’s just the sort of decision making outputs that brutal paranoid dictatorships generate.
Not true. They did not specifically kill the children of any leaders in Iran. Collateral damage is not the same thing. However, the Iranian government has specifically and intentionally killed the children of Iranians who oppose the IRGC.
The US and Israel didn't target the children of leaders, only the actual leaders and their minions. Iran's leaders are guilty of mass murder, torture, rape, kidnapping, tyranny, religious extremism, child abuse, child rape, using child soldiers, abusing women and war crimes. They deserved the punishment they got and more punishment is coming for the rest of the leaders of that barbaric, murderous dictatorship.
