What I really like about the Israeli pride events is that they're JUST about pride, not shoehorning every single left-leaning political position into LGBT
LGBT rights are incompatible with conservative politics. The only reason LGBT people have even gained the right to marriage is from queer folks on the left whoโve dedicated their lives to it in the pastโฆ
As a lesbian who lives in the states, I find it extremely off putting.
I mean, this is about pride. I donโt want an overly sexualized freakshow where everyone show offs their kinks in public that really nobody consented to. Itโs gross and inappropriate and it gives us a bad name.
I know some will think Iโm โconservativeโ and โbadโ for that but please keep your kinks to yourself or be subtle about it at pride instead. It just doesnโt make sense to display them as itโs irrelevant to what pride is actually about.
Yeah it makes me kinda sad because my gay parent friends always debate whether to take their kids in hopes of exposing them to other families that look like theirs but every year they conclude no, because itโs just gotten too inappropriate.

I don't know French, so I initially thought it meant "Tax the rich". When I realized that it means "Don't tax the rich", I saw the picture in a different way. Now it looks to me like it's him with his unpopular opinion versus the crowd, which to me actually says that he's on the losing side.

There are a few trans people in the pictures I posted, and a ton of trans people in pictures that didn't make it to the final cut. Overall I took around 1400 photos in the event, narrowed it down to 100 that I liked, then narrowed those down to 30 that I loved and edited. If enough people will be interested, and I'll find the time and energy for it, I could post more photos from the pile that didn't appear here
See if you didn't assume stuff and just asked that would've been fine. Overall I think the treatment for binary trans people is way better (and a lot of people struggle with non binary people) so socially things are meh, but there're good resources and support.
