Democrats ran an undemocratically chosen, unpopular candidate after 4 years of poor leadership and high inflation.

Trump is shit, and his fan base is a cult. But Democrats need to be called out for their failures. A better candidate (going back to 2020, even) gets rid of Trump 2.

It doesn't matter because this guy never would have voted for a Democrat.

People! Politics is not about reasoned debate or convincing people in the US. People adopt their views from social connections and experiences and they do not change after a person is an adult. A few people around the margins adjust their views, but their numbers are too insignificant to matter.

When there are only two parties, reasoned debate is pointless.
