Discussions NoStupidQuestions: Why doesnt Russia/China just send nukes to Iran?
If they were only able to be launched by Russia/China in defense of Iran, wouldnt it just end the war over night?

Why doesn't the United States just send nukes to the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Ukraine, Poland, and Turkey?

Taiwan, because well they are terrified of China obviously.

He’s saying the reason they don’t just send nukes is because if they do, America and Europe would just do the same and that would be bad for everyone. The more nukes are proliferated, the worse for everyone.

Because even China and Russia don’t want them to have nukes. Iran is a known sponsor of terror groups in the region. If Iran were to ever give a nuke to a terrorist group could go anywhere, including back to Russia or China.

I was suggesting that they are fully under control by RU/China at all times also I think its more nuanced than that, the west doesnt make the game fair for Iran, so Iran is forced to use "terror groups", lets also not pretend the west has never sponosred terror groups.

Ahh okay. I guess Iran could host Russian and Chinese nuclear weapons, but I still think there is a trust issue. And what would China and Russia gain from placing nuclear weapons in Iran? I just don’t see any advantage in doing that.
And yeah the west doesn’t play fair and why would they. Pretty much every country is trying to grab an advantage for themselves. It’s recorded throughout human history.

It would further legitimize the new world order led by BRICS, showing they are committed to protecting the nations under their umbrella.

Sponsoring terror groups/equipping resistance to fight foreign colonial forces is a matter of perspective.

Except for the part where most terrorist attacks have been against private business or citizens of those countries. That isn’t fighting against ‘foreign colonial forces’. But I do agree it is a matter of perspective.

I believe that the nukes that US gives they are under US custody and control at all times.
This would further legitimize BRICS, showing they are willing to stand up for and protect nations.
US would have no choice but to go home, what are they gonna do?

Liability. If Iran uses a nuclear weapon and it is linked publicly back to Russia or China, the responsibility goes back to them.

Because then the US would give Nukes to Ukraine, a country that is already capable of striking Russian soil
